The NRA And Fox: Trying To Bridge The Cowardly Bullies Logic Gap

Screen-Shot-2017-10-06-at-9.32.30-AM-1920x1000-c-top

Fox hosts–and other such far right wing pundits–prey upon the minds of the stupid and gullible. The students of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School survived a shooting where they either witnessed friends and teachers being shot to death–and in one case pulled the body of a dead student on top of them to hide from the shooter–or heard the loud, percussive shots through doors and windows, living in fear of the shooter finding them in their hiding place and killing them.

The survivors who decided they’ve had enough, that they would step out into the glaring media spotlight and start a campaign to demand national gun laws that would finally begin to end this madness have struck terror into the heart of the NRA. And when the NRA is struck with terror, it strikes back.

Through it’s little servant surrogates like Ted Nugent, Frank Stallone, Laura Ingraham, etc. are given their marching orders to attempt to have their lemming-like devoted core of minions bridge the following Logic Gap: turn the brave survivors of a devastatingly lethal shooting spree into…cowardly bullies. Does this make sense to you? If you have a modicum of intelligence and a discerning thinker, no. If you are a Fox fan…well, that brings us back to the stupid and gullible. Anyone who believes that David Hogg and Emma Gonzalez are cowards and bullies also believes that Vladmir Putin is an honest but misunderstood benevolent ruler of Russia, a huge friend of Donnie’s–I mean, the United States of America, and should be welcome in Donnie’s White House to receive congrats on well-deserved honest presidential victory.

Speaking of Ted Nugent, it is said he intentionally pooped in his pants to avoid the Vietnam draft. According to Snopes the story is unproven, but then the only people who could have broken this story would either have been Nugent bragging to his buddies who then spread the story, the draft doctors who examined him, or the military personnel who typed up his 4-F draft classification. Some say that Nugent allegedly pooping in his pants, whether intentionally or unintentionally, to avoid being drafted was a supreme act of cowardice in itself, especially since no one was shooting at him yet. So, some ask, who is Nugent to call anyone a coward? It takes one to know one? In this case some say the only cowardly act in question was allegedly perpetrated by Nugent.

The NRA is trying to sell a bill of goods to the lowest common denominator of people who will buy anything. They’ll buy that only Fox is to be trusted to report real news because Donnie tells them so. They’ll buy that Donnie’s bloodstained hands aren’t all over the dead body of DACA. And they’ll buy that Donnie didn’t allegedly assault/harass and just sexually misconduct all over the place with at least 50 women, despite being married through most if not all of it.

I wish the morons who accept anything Fox says as gospel (isn’t one of their slogans “God talks to you through us”? If not, just give it time) would step back JUST a bit and actually look at that Logic Gap with a clear, discerning mind: “OK, over here you got teenagters deathly afraid for their lives and most grieving while still going through PTSD and positively directing their anger at assault rifles and high-capacity magazines…and over their these same teenagers being coward and bullies to Fox employees pulling in tens of millions of dollars a year, causing them to live in fear of these high school student cowardly bullies. Nope, still doesn’t make any sense. But then it’s never made sense to get news from Fox. But then that brings us full circle again back to stupid and gullible who watch Fox regurgitate talking points written and handed down by the NRA. Break the NRA, break Fox, break the little surrogate servants, you break the circle. Then maybe we can start to fix this country.

Only Uneducated People Favor Arming Classroom Teacher With Weapons–Concealed Or Otherwise

0225lapierre01

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/again-the-question-could-armed-teachers-stop-shootings/ar-BBJr9Lk?li=BBnbcA1

Here are the problems with this very old and discredited NRA idea, which of course is now being pushed by the extremely-limited capacity of Donnie’s brain (we’ll pay teachers bonuses if they agree to conceal carry in the classroom!):

1. Most shootings start outside or in the halls outside of classrooms. How many would-be gunfighter teachers will actually get sufficient training to calmly take out their concealed piece and calmly wait for the actual shooter to enter their classroom? How many teachers don’t even have enough time for basic lesson planning and grading papers now and parent-teacher conferences now? What if the teacher has their gun pointed at the door and they not so calmly shoot the first person(s) who comes through the door–like a panicked student frantically attempting to find a safe place to hide from the real shooter? This WILL happen.

Picture this: you’re a teacher in a classroom. Outside you hear the string of loud, concussive cracks of high velocity rounds being being fired outside your door from an assault rifle. You hear people screaming, crying, moaning in pain, or dying. You fear that shooter will either fire through your classroom door (or through the door of the classroom closet you’re hiding inside) and then burst in spraying bullets across the classroom or into that closet. He quickly points the rifle barrel at you and it’s still smoking and you know he’s already killed unknown numbers of people. And you’re holding a six-shot revolver or a semiautomatic handgun and in your stress and panic and fear maybe your aim is off and you shoot the door or walls and windows or students not hiding under their desks, but the shooter doesn’t have to be so accurate with his semi or fully automatic weapon and he kills you and others in an indiscriminate spray of high velocity bullets in less than a second. Are you willing to bet that there’s a 100% chance in that instant that you’ll take the shooter down before you’re taken down? You could lose a ton of money in Vegas along with your life in that classroom taking that bet. And what’s more, the chances are excellent you’ll miss the shooter but hit and kill other students in the classroom in your panic and rush to fire your weapon. And just imagine if you’re an elementary school teacher…

2. Stats say that it’s more likely a barely-trained teacher who got their Donnie bonus for carrying a concealed weapon in the classroom is more likely to be shot and and have their weapon taken by the shooter or some other untrained student,. In either case, innocent people will still die and you more than likely will be one of them.

The clearly sane and adult answer is that all assault weapons and high capacity clips and magazines must be banned and those bans strictly enforced. Background check laws must be strengthened and enforced. All weapons and ammo dealers and sellers MUST be federally licensed, All records of gun sales must be entered into both BATFE and FBI computer systems for future accessing for crosschecks and ALL private weapons and ammo sales banned, including at gun shows. In this way if it’s discovered that a weapon previously legally purchased was sold illegally to someone who committed murder and/or wounded people with it.

3. Remember how George Zimmerman got away with killing Trayvon Martin using the Stand Your Ground defense–or how countless white cops get away with killing unarmed black people with the officially-sanctioned law enforcement version of that law? Think of the classroom shootings of students by teachers that WILL occur because an armed teacher felt physically threatened by a loudmouthed teen who stood up a their desk–or made a move to stand up?

4. Teachers are overloaded with work now. In addition to their teaching responsibilities they’re now required to be psychological diagnosticians, behavorial counselors required to enforce and update individual learning plans or individualized educational plans for SpEd students or for those with acute behavioral problems to different state agencies and departments.

And now idiot Donnie and the others on the NRA payroll have the BRILLIANT idea to add being an armed security guard to their classroom duties? Yes, the top 1% have paid out A LOT of cash to have the lunatics running the asylum that once was the United States. This is an election year. We have to come out in numbers high enough to offset the GOP election fraud and Russian hacking that will be out in full force come November

Home Grown And Home Grown By Marriage Terrorists

Last night I watched a CBS News reporter ask one of the law enforcement chiefs how the mother of a 6-month old child could have fired those weapons and killed all those people. How what kind of mother of a small child would allow her home to be turned into an arsenal, stockpiled with assault rifles, handguns, and thousands of rounds of ammo? What kind of mother of a small child would be making homemade bombs from materials kept in the home? In other words, how does Mom become a terrorist?

The answer is a woman who never wanted to be a mother and cares nothing about children.

The more I hear and read about that San Bernardino couple who shot up that holiday banquet party the more I’m convinced both the marriage and their 6-month-old baby were shams, a disguise to present themselves as an average, middle class family.

The wife, a Pakistani, had previously pledged her allegiance to ISIS. We don’t know when the male shooter, an American-born citizen, became a radicalized Islamist. My theory is he had both domestic and overseas contacts with ISIS or some other Islamic extremist sect. He was instructed to make contact with a particular woman posting on a specific dating site, fly over to Saudi Arabia and marry her, and bring her back to the states. They would have a baby just to complete the image as your average Muslim-American middle class family pursuing the American Dream.

The male shooter (notice I’m not giving names here?) was an American-born Muslim of Pakistani immigrants. He was beset by an identity crisis: feeling like he didn’t belong to either the Western culture or to the Eastern culture. This identity confusion is common among the type of Muslim who joins a violent, extremist group. This guy had been educated here. He was hired into a civil service job with a great salary and benefits. How badly had this guy been treated when he was growing up or was he just a spoiled brat who hated the country that had given him so much? His phony wife was working as a pharmacist and being paid well for it.

I can’t understand his hatred but I can understand hers–to a point. Go back as far as the 1940s and look at how our country’s presidents and the CIA subverted the governments and people of the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Latin America, and almost everywhere else you could throw a dart at a global map.

For all I know she might have been just another of those  deluded young middle class Muslim women who find leaders of those extremist groups sexy and exciting. But I don’t know her history at all.

And I also wonder if this shooting was a planned terrorist attack or if the male shooter let his hatred of a Jewish co-worker get the best of him and decided on his own to make this holiday banquet his first “mission” in defiance of orders he’d received? I think he and his wife actually thought they could get away with it. Besides, from the amount of weapons, ammo, and pipe bombs stockpiled in the home, more such “missions” were obviously being planned either by those two or in conjunction with others. If that was the case, then we’re fortunate that the ego and self-centered thinking of that guy overrode what could be presumed as a series carefully-laid terrorist plots for even further mass murders.

Lastly, I am fuming at Chris Cox, executive director of the NRA’s “Institute For Legislative Action”, just a fancy name for the gun lobby arm of the NRA. He claims in his USA Today op-ed piece of…that the California gun control laws are all on President Obama’s wishlist and yet this tragedy STILL happened. Just goes to show that gun control isn’t the answer. Except that what Cox conveniently omits in his 2nd Amendment propaganda screed is that while the AR-15s and the Glock 9mm handguns were all bought legally by the male shooter, the AR-15s were illegally altered to make them fully automatic in order to enable them to continually fire the illegal high capacity clips (illegal in California but LEGAL in the NRA-owned states from which the male shooter ordered them online. The type of powerful ammo the shooter bought was also illegal in California but LEGAL was also illegal to order in the NRA-owned states from which the shooter purchased them online). So what Cox tried to cover up was that these gun laws, whether enacted or on Obama’s wish list, would be effective had they been standardized and enforced nationwide.

If people are searching for someone to blame for this latest mass shooting and killing, look up Chris Cox at the NRA or find him on social media networks and tell him what you think about his op-ed thing if you like.

The County Sheriff Who Thinks He’s A United States Supreme Court Justice

Apparently the little town of Roseburg, Oregon is Gun Nut Central with Douglas County Sheriff John Hanlin the head Gun Nut.  Just another far right wing lawman who places himself and his far right wing gun nut beliefs above the Constitution and now the safety of the citizens he swore an oath to protect.  He’s no constitutional lawyer or expert so he’s in no position to decide on his own what violates the 2nd Amendment and what doesn’t. He was elected to ENFORCE the law and not to self-adjudicate or even change it. I suppose the majority of gun-caring town citizens agree with him because they keep him in office. We once stayed in Roseburg years ago. Because of this sheriff, who I’m sure has hired deputies who share his non-legal opinions gun control legislation, my family and our tourist dollars will never visit there again.

It Could Be Open Season On Open Carry In Texas

http://thedailyshow.cc.com/full-episodes/wnhppp/june-5–2014—tom-cruise

The magnificent Jon Stewart and The Daily Show. Watch the first two segments on Open Carry in Texas where Open Carry meets Stand Your Ground. It’s both laws existing side by side taken to their ultimate lethal absurdity. It’s the NRA as both the Earps and the Clantons in a good old-fashioned, state-sanctioned gunfight (of course that was in Arizona and not Texas but the analogy still works) playing both sides against the middle.

Watch the first two show segments, although the third segment is hilarious and worthwhile. In Texas, you have the right to enter a Mickey D’s or a 7-11 with your AR-15 slung over your shoulder. At the same time, if you’re a parent eating lunch with your young children at said Mickey D’s and you THINK or FEEL that your lives are in danger from those scary gunslinging munchers, with their ball caps, heavy jackets, heavy beards, heavy bulk (or even the thinner guys) because you don’t know if they just came in to munch a Big Mac or to spray everyone with bullets out of their large capacity clips (with more sticking out of their jackets under which you can spy their Kevlar bulletproof vests), you have a legal right to take your .9mm Glock semiautomatic pistol out of your Open Carry shoulder holster and put a round through each of the munchers’ heads if that’s what makes you and your scared children safer.

And chances are no one will convict you of murder or manslaughter in Texas because Stand Your Ground is all about state of mind. If you THINK you are being threatened with bodily harm or FEEL that your life and those of your loved ones are in danger, that’s all the law requires for you to legally terminate the source of the danger that you feel with extreme prejudice.
