Here it is: Mike Pence’s opening gambit to display to the world that not only is he the real president behind the president but he plans to be the only president in the near future. This is the first step away from Trump regarding Donald’s ad campaign to make us believe Russia is misunderstood but friendly folks.

This is also Pence laying the groundwork for sounding presidential by announcing a policy towards Russia which is diametrically opposed to Trump’s. He’s framing himself as the future friend to Europe should he become president and giving Putin advanced notice as president he and Europe won’t stand for Vladimir’s expansionist crap. Perhaps Pence has inside info that Trump is not long for the White House? I think a whole bunch of stuff connecting Trump to Putin and the hacking of the 2016 election is going to bust loose in a few months.Trump will be forced out–or worse–and Pence will become prez via the 25th Amendment. The problem is that while Trump is a clown whose ego might cause collateral damage domestically and globally, Pence is the real and serious evil behind the clown. And the GOP is ready to embrace him as the president they really wanted to elect.

Rand Paul: Putting Republicans Before Country And The Constitution

“I just don’t think it’s useful to be doing investigation after investigation, particularly of your own party,..we’ll never even get started with doing the things we need to do like repealing Obamacare if we’re spending our whole time having Republicans investigate Republicans. I think it makes no sense.”

Rand Paul just outed himself. As a US Senator he puts Republicans before country. To him it makes no sense to investigate the first president who is possibly guilty of treasonous collusion with a foreign leader–Vladimir Putin of Russia–as a presidential candidate and president-elect for personal gain and to avoid being blackmailed. But it makes perfect sense to deprive 20 million Americans–many of them families too poor to afford healthcare and adults with pre-existing conditions which made them lepers to health insurance corporations.

So Paul is on record as being out there. Solely out there in the Senate for his political party and not for his constituents, his country, and the US Constitution. That’s pretty short-sighted for a guy who used to be an ophthalmologist, don’t you think? And the tragic irony in all of this is that Kentucky voters likely to continue to be as self-centered and myopic as Paul when he runs for reelection.

Trump, the Second Colored President Of The United States

I’m convinced that all the racists who hated Obama were not opposed to Obama because he was the first colored president. He was just the wrong color. None of them wanted a black president. They want a fluorescent, phony tan colored president.

John Boehner proved that for the GOP orange was the acceptable new black. I guess fluorescent, phony tan is the new orange…

Senate Democrats Have A Short Memory When It Comes To Neil Gorsuch

Before the Senate Democrats get too self-righteous in their opposition to Neil Gorsuch’s nomination, let us reflect that back in 2006 they had no such problem being part of a unanimous voice vote that approved his nomination to the 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. Those senators had to know that someday his name might come up as as SCOTUS nominee but once again Harry Reid played the good little compliant but spineless soldier for George W. Bush.

The Senate Dems knew all about Gorsuch’s right wing, arch strict constructionist viewpoint back then and they were completely cognizant of his mother, who resigned in disgrace and under allegations of corruption (after running the EPA into the ground) in 1983.

This is why I remain totally disgusted with the Democratic Party. As always with the Dems it’s far too little and far too late to be of any help to anyone. Once again they handed total victory to the Republicans last November. Attempting to stand up on their tiny little legs and shout their indignation at all Trump is doing (which their election trouncings made possible) in their tiny little voices just further underscores that there is no longer any viable opposition to the GOP. The Dems may try to saddle all the blame for the certain ruination of our country and possibly the world on Trump. But my their ineptness and corruption amply displayed in the last election, they have no one else to blame but themselves.
